What is the capacity at Cattows Farm?
The marquee and tipi structures are erected for each individual event so they are built for the amount of guests attending the wedding. The company supplying your structure will be able to guide you with the size needed for your guest list.

Is the venue heated?
The tipi structures can include heating, either a fire pit or a heater or both. The marquees can also be heated. Your structure supplier will include this in their costs.

Are there photo location opportunities?
Cattows Farm allow you use of the farm and fields for your wedding photos and there are a number of fantastic photography spots to make use of. We encourage couples to meet their photographer onsite before the event to show them round.

Do you allow fireworks or sky lanterns?
Unfortunately not, due to the location of the farm this would be a fire risk and a hazard to animals.

Do you allow confetti?
We only allow natural confetti, all synthetic confetti is not permitted onsite. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure this is adhered to by all guests.

Do you allow candles or tea-lights?
Please check the tipi or marquee company’s terms and conditions for their preference on this.

Can we camp overnight?
Yes, we allow glamping tents, live in vehicles and tents. We charge £20 per structure, per night.

Can we bring our own caterers?
Yes, we allow couples to source their own caterers. We do have recommended caterers, see our suppliers page for further details.

Can we bring our own drinks or bar service?
Yes, we allow couples to source their own bar supplier or provide their own. We do have recommended bar companies, see our suppliers page on our website for further details.

Will our guests find the venue easily?
Please ensure you ask for the correct postcode before sending out your invitations. We allow couples to position signs at the end of the drives to direct guests to the wedding.

What time do we have to leave the site?
Our license provision states that music and alcohol sales must cease at midnight. All live music must cease by 11pm. Taxis must be pre-booked before the event and all non-overnight guests must be off the premises by 12.30pm.

Can we leave cars overnight?
Yes, we allow overnight parking for guests.

Do we need our own insurance?
We strongly recommend couples take out their own wedding insurance as a safeguard to your day.
